LOCATION: Hartford, CT – in office. Option to work from home one day per week with manager discretion.

JOB SUMMARY:


The team lead for the advisor success group has the overall responsibility for ensure engagement and penetration of Covr’s 25,000+ network of financial advisors utilizing a variety of techniques to build awareness and engage advisors on a favorable basis.
 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for hiring and training 1 or more advisor success associations who are responsible for outbound calling to financial advisors to introduce Covr, secure demos and introduce our sales teams
  • Responsible for coordinating and implementing all advisor campaigns through the RIC and IW teams. Examples of these campaigns are winback, new advisors, fallen angels, product promotions, etc
  • Responsible for development and cultivating COI relationships across all firms. There are about 1000 COIs that have key roles in introducing us to advisors on a favorable basis.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
 

Other key tasks

  • Develop training and call scripts
  • Loading and managing campaign databases in Hubspot
  • Engaging with partner firms to acquire correct COI lists
 
  • Campaign reporting from PBI and other reporting tools
  • Partnering with marketing department on content for emails, digital presence, webinars, etc
 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


Preferred Education and Experience:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5-year Life Insurance or Financial service industry experience
  • Life and health insurance license required/Series 6 & 63 or ability to obtain preferred
 

Knowledge and Skills:

 
  • Go Getter, sales mentality with proven track record of high performance/activity
  • Strong customer service skills with a strong positive phone presence
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to build phone-based relationships
  • Ability to articulate message quickly and effectively over the phone
  • Must be a self-starter and ability to learn independently through experience
  • Ability to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
