JOB SUMMARY:

In this highly visible role as a Jr. Product Manager, you will sit at the core of our business at the crossroads of strategy, product management and analytics, working closely with Executives and helping develop business strategy, growth plans and drive execution. You will make meaningful and measurable improvements impacting an abundance of both internal and external clients and customers. You will lead key cross-functional projects across the business, collaboratively working with senior leaders, and be critically involved in strategic planning, problem solving, and making decisions impacting Covr's overall business.
 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Work closely with CITO and Directors to lead the execution of key cross functional business initiatives, working efficiently across organization lines.
      • Manage tech workstreams and run weekly tech meetings to ensure activities stay on track.
      • Assist & project manage in developing, leading, and implementing strategic and operational initiatives and projects to enhance revenue growth and / or improve operating margins.
      • Communicate and present findings to CITO.
      • Define and report on both key metrics and user data to measure the performance of our operations and inform data driven decision making.
 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Perform ad hoc research (prospecting, conference preparation, business needs, etc.) to ensure accuracy as well as providing in-depth knowledge and context for decision making.
      • Work with external firms during prospecting and implementation to accelerate partnerships and ensure quick and accurate communication with key stakeholders.
      • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:
      • BA required
      • 1 - 3 years of product management experience.
      • Strong mathematical background
      • Financial background preferred
      • Track record of using analytics to support decision-making, with the ability to dig deep into data and identify the right insights.
      • Self-motivation and the ability to independently identify and implement high-value analyses and projects.
      • Verbal and written communication and data modeling and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts and effectively communicate those to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
      • Strong leadership, organizational and execution skills in a fast-paced environment
 

Knowledge and Skills:

      • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task without losing focus.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and expert in Excel
      • Comfortable with routine, repetitive tasks
      • Excellent written communication skills
