ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a user-centered design function at Covr with an emphasis on the company's digital insurance platform.
- Work collaboratively across company functions to define user experience through design artifacts that include customer journey maps, participatory design prototypes and wireframes.
- Establish a clear view of competition, best practices and trends to ensure Covr is consistently viewed as a leader.
- Consult with Covr's clients and strategic partners to align on user needs and issues.
- Collaborate closely with technology and engineering to guide the road map for Covr's digital platform.
JOB SPECIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in experience design and graphic /visual development required
- BFA or BA in related field, graduate design degree preferred
- Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs
- Effective communication of design solutions across roles and levels
- Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies and their application and relevance to digital experiences
- Proven understanding of responsive web and mobile application design and wireframe development
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence others and provide thought leadership on design
- Flexibility - ability to change direction based on team and stakeholder input

- Salary range $90,000 to $105,000 annual base with a 10% incentive bonus
